I know..SERIOUSLY what the crap have I been up too???!! I have been so terrible at blogging but we have been enjoying every single day of the summer..even the rainy days!!! Just a couple of weekends ago I ran the WASATCH BACK RELAY with a group of my girlfriends!! For those of you that don't know what it is I will try to briefly tell you!! It is a group of 12 people..split into 2 different vans..6 in each!! We run a total of 188 miles..but we each run 3 legs!! I was in the 2nd van and was the 1st one out each time!! I ran at 5:30pm..2:30am..& again at 11:00am..and my total mileage was 14!! My leg was definetly one of the easiest ones...except my 2nd leg was a beast!! It was at 2:30 in the morning...pitch dark all by my lonesome...through the windy canyon...and mostly ALL up hill!! I have never done anything like this before..but I can't wait too do it again!! I set personal goals and was able to achieve them..it was a fun challenge!! Here are some pics of me & some girls I ran with!! We were so sad because we got rained out at the end of the race so we got NO team pictures:(..they even had to close down the booths that were there!! But I would choose rain over the heat any day!!! We placed 18th out of 66 women open teams!! Now maybe next year we can beat our time!!! If you like to run..sign up for next years race!!!!

Some of the ladies!!! The back seat was our best friend!! We would TRY to sleep!! I got a total of 2hrs. the whole 2 days!!! Sleep??? Whats that???

AHHHH KAT!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!! This race is awesome!! I was going to do it this year, but I've got the babes. Totally want to do it next year!! A group of ladies from out here run it every year and love it! I heard it's dang hard but awesome!! Congrats! You guys placed amazing! What an awesome accomplishment!

Oh I'm so glad you posted this. Now I really wish we talked--but don't worry, next time we see each other there will be plenty to talk about! I was runner 6 & I was running at 2:30 in the morning too! Can't wait to see you and talk about the race. And great job on placing 18th--that's great!

YAY< Your alive.. I have family that run in that race every year, I love it as well, But i just like watching for now.. Thats awesome that you did so good! There are some hard trails in it. KAT - you are the worst blogger ever! Show me some 4th of July photos! Tell Brynley we love her and miss her. If Kacie drives to Cali for the commercial you Brynley and Chandler should come with her and hang out for a few days!
