What a fun holiday to celebrate with family and friends!! When I was a kid my dad would take us to see the hot air balloons and after to the provo parade!! I always remembered how much I enjoyed it and wanted to continue the tradition with my family!!:) Reed wasn't too excited about the whole getting up early thing and being in a crowd of people...his tradition would be boating on the lake each year!! But I have won the fight and we have made it a tradition in our family!!! We went with my sister Jen and her family and then later met up with some of our neighbors at the parade!! It is so fun to see everyone dressed up in red, white and blue and waving the american flag around!!! I feel like a kid again when we watch the parade!!!
After the parade we went over to Reeds parents house to swim and barbeque!! Brynley had fun spending time with her cousins and playing with Aunt Tricias doggy Rico!!
Later that night we did some fireworks with the kids and then walked over to James Town to watch the Stadium of Fire!! There is just something so amazing about fireworks...I just LOVE them and think they are so magical!!! We were so worn out by the end of the night, but we were so grateful that we could celebrate our countries birthday in such a great way!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA and all those fighting for our freedoms!!!:)(I didn't get any pics of the parade and balloons...I dropped my brand new camera and broke the screen!! The best way to start off my day huh?!! I was soooo sick about it ALL day long)
