Where do I even begin....we had such a BLAST in New York!! Reed wasn't very excited about this vacation..he would of rather been on a beach in Mexico!! But after the 1st day in the city he was really enjoying the trip and by the end LOVED it!! We did about EVERYTHING there is to do in New York!! We went to see the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island(where Hitch was filmed..that was such an AMAZING place to learn about), walked the Brooklyn Bridge, went to see the Empire State Building, went to a Yankees Game(they won!!:) played in the coolest toy store ever FAO Schwarz(where BIG was filmed), went to the Natural History Museum(where Night of the Museum was filmed), walked Canal Street many times searching for the CUTEST purses and glasses....the boys were the best sports!!! Being in New York is just like tv portrays it...Taxis are honking and yelling at eachother, the streets are packed with people and Time Square is AMAZING to see especially during the night!! Our goal in New York was to not LOOK like tourists at ALL...and we did it!! We had people asking us for directions...and Reed was the one to give them!! All we needed was a good map to study in our Hotel and we had the subway mastered in a day!!
Brynley was such a good girl the ENTIRE time!! Being stuck in a stroller, missing nap time, and not eating at her normal times she was still soooo happy and enjoyed riding the subway(she called it a train)!! She is for sure like her mommy and daddy and LOVES to people watch and dog watch!! We saw so many different dogs we have never seen before...you for sure need a dog to fit into New York..they were EVERYWHERE!!! We went to Central Park alot just to hang out and people watch....I was pretty content with that...the funny thing is there is probably always someone watching us making fun of what were doing or wearing too!!:) Never thought of that until now!!!:)
And of course there always has to be a little drama or disaster on a trip right?!! Well on our way home we had a lay-over in Washington DC and our flight to there was on a smaller plane that was 2 seats on each side and the air circulation was REALLY bad!! As we were landing into Washington DC we had to circle a bit and the plane was getting SUPER warm..which led to me not feelin' so hot!! I told Reed I was going to throw up, but there was nothing to throw up in. Luckily I had my pjs in my purse on the floor so I grabbed my shirt and that was still not enough!! I filled 2 of Brynleys diapers and my shirt!! I felt like such a weak sauce and couldn't believe I barfed!! I ended up having to change my pants into my sweats because I barfed on my capris too and the shirt I threw up in was definetly put in the trash!!!
Lesson learned....ALWAYS make sure you have PLENTY of barf bags if a plane has bad air circulation and take a change of clothes in your carry on!!:)
EVERYONE should visit New York it is a fun place to see!!! But I don't think I would want to live there!!!

I love NY! Went there with Karen a few years back. They say the people are not friendly but I disagree. Maybe it's a "you get what you give" type of thing. So sorry you got sick! I got seasick on our boat out in the ocean a few weeks ago, which I have never done, and it was such a drag. But to be stuck on a plane ... that just sucks!
you are so funny. those pictures are great and it looks like you guys had so much fun. i'm so jealous. i'm trying to talk dane into a trip this year. we shall see. i feel your pain about barfing since i have stomach flu and it sucks! i hate throwing up and rarely do...no fun at all. after reading your post, i'm going to double my efforts with dane about going soon.

Sounds like you had a way fun trip! I love NYC... it is the best. I have really been wanting to go back. I loved all your pics. So sorry you got sick on the plane.

Whoo hoo!! I was waiting to see the pictures. Looks like it was a blast. Brynley is such a trooper. She loves to be busy just like her momma and daddy. Glad you guys are back and safe now though.

I love NY. I think it is a place that everyone should visit and enjoy! So many fun things to do! You have such a cute family and you look gorgeous as usual! I am glad you had a fun trip!
