Have any of you ever seen National Lampoons Christmas Vacation? Well if you haven't than your missin' out!! I have the pleasure of having my very own Griswald!! Reed absolutley loves to put up lights on our house and thinks that he needs to add to it each year. I was fine with him doing his thing until 2 years ago when he took a nice fall off the roof...yes thats what I said he FELL OFF THE ROOF!! I was talking to a good friend of mine when I heard a crash and I went outside to see Reed with the ladder on top of him!! It was so loud that my neighbor across the street came out to see what was going on and to her surprise she also saw Reed on the ground!! He said he was totally fine and to not worry about it(you know how guys are...they never get hurt!! Yeah Right!!) So I have gotten over the fact that I might lose my husband from putting up our Christmas lights one of these years!! I mean how bad is it really if he put on pads and a helmet to put up lights...the guys in the neighborhood wouldn't make fun of him that bad..would they?? I'm just trying to protect him!! Just kidding...but it has crossed my mind a couple of times:)Christmas has so many wonderful things about it, but one of our most FAVORITE things would have to be the lights and the decorations!! There is nothing more magical and inviting than sitting around the christmas tree telling stories, drinking hot cocoa and putting on some sweet Christmas tunes along with some dancing!!!

I just watched that movie the other day. It's the best! Your house looks awsome!! We might have to drive by and see it in person.
Brynley looks so cute in all of those hats. I'm big on hats too! I can't believe how big she is now. She looks like a toddler!
Way to go Reed! I made the mistake of critizing how Kevin did the Christmas lights 5 years ago so I have done them by myself the last five years. Needless to say, they are not very impressive. If I get a camera I'll post the amazing Hess yard.

I love it. My neighbors are griswalds too. I don't even need to turn on my kitchen light because their yard lights it up! Juan finally put up lights this year but they are nothing like Reed's!
You crack me up.. The lights look awesome nice work reed! And Bryley she is adorable those cheeks are to die for... Savannah is little.. Since she started drinking milk though she has put on a few pounds.. Too cute. Maybe if I ever see Lindsay Dick again I can see you guys too.
That is so tight! I can't believe he did that good of a job, I'm very highly impressed! Cute house, and I love Brynley's fat cheeks! I just want to SQUEEZE them!
I always do the lights and they are pretty sorry! I can't get them to the top portion of the house. I would love to be a Griswald house but it would be too much competition with what I like to call the "day after Christmas sale" house down the street. (I actually call it the WT house) It looks like they buy whatever crap is left at the stores after Christmas each year and keep adding it to their yard...YIKES!!

Drumroll please? "Joy to the world!" (Get it?) I sure hope your "lighting of the house" wasn't as anticlimactic as the movie! It looks awesome!

Good job Reed! Oh my gosh your house looks sooo awesome! It is definitely a house that I would load the kids up in the car just to drive by and see the great lights! I am impressed. I am coming to UTah ont he 17th and will be thre until Jan 9th. We must get together!

We watch that movie as a family every Christmas Eve when we are going to bed...I love it! Your house looks amazing. Can I borrow Reed because Ryan will not put lights up outside our house and I am starting to get really mad about it...seriously?!?

Kat- I'm so sorry! We ended up having a birthday dinner at my moms on Sunday and didn't ever take any pictures! We just had Scott's mom take one at her house for us yesterday, but it is not the cutest! Oh, well! There is only so much you can do, right?! I hope that you guys got yours done! Let me know if you want me to come meet up with you guys and take some.
